Today is Thursday and I am still waiting by the phone for Pat to ring about Abby.
We went together to the vet this afternoon and there are only two puppies. Very dissapointing and both pups are laying with back feet coming first!!!!  Our vet will ring Pat tomorrow and discuss if we need a c-section or not.  Seems so expensive just for two pups but if we wait for them to come and they both start coming at the same time we run the risk of losing one or both puppies.  Very hard decision to make!!!!

Zena didn't go to work this morning as she is still feeling the flu symptoms and thinks she might have pneumonia so she is going to the doctor.   Well doctor says she needs a chest x-ray and they say there are calcified limps in her lungs so needs a cat scan.  This isn't good as they are also talking about the cancer word so of course we are all not very happy with that!!!  I amsure it is nothing and they will just take a byopsy but of course no one likes the cancer word!!!  Not a good day eh!!!!!

Apart from all that not much going on here. Still freezing cold and have to listen to Eric moaning about being cold. Well nothing I can do about it, sorry!!!

Another day tomorrow, hopefully we will make a decision about Abby and Zena will stay home in bed except for going for her cat scan. 
Eric is taking her car for inspection tomorrow so lets hope that will be o.k.

Well I dont know if this will go after the last time I wrote or not.  I really have  a hard time with some of these things.
I mean last night I put what I thought was an advert on www.wtkr.com which is free advertising for selling my Bing puppy.  Well it was still not published today so when Zena got home from work we pulled it up again.  Well low and behold you have to register. After I registered the advert went through. After reading mine and others I went in and found how to edit the advert, which I did infact do three times, wanted my web address on there as other people had theirs on.  Finally I am happy with the advert and it is now published.  Hey they even sent me an email thanking me and stating that it was now posted!!! Yeah actually works but will I get any sale from it???  Sure hope so as Bing really needs his own home. 

Yesterday Pat and I went to get our taxes done.  Well bummer as we dont get a refund because as Eric isnt working any more and paying taxes we didn't over pay as usual. At least he doesnt have to pay the usual $1200 that he usually does so that is good!!!

This evening Pat rang me to say that Abby, her smooth coat chihuahua has milk and would I be ready for a phone call to help deliver.  Of course but she can have milk for up to a week, or she can have milk and drop the pups within 2 hours.  Never can tell as they will do what they want.  Think it might be good to take her in to the vet tomorrow morning and get an x-ray though.  Just to be sure there is no problem.  After having the problem with Polly not being able to pass the first puppy, now I want an x-ray every time. Hey it is only money isnt it!!!!!!!!!!

This morning I went and got wood pellets.  I bought three bags for me and one for Pat just incase she needed it.  When I first started buying the pellets they were $4.50 per 48 pound bag, now they are $6.49 per 48 pound bag!!!  I mean just for wood pellets.
Still need them for the litter trays and these little buggers will only use the tray if it is clean.  Yes I pick up as soon as I see it or smell it but not the pee as it goes to dust.  They are real picky these two!!!

One good thing about Abby hopefully having her pups by this weekend, we will be able to do our entries for the Collonial Downs shows on Friday as they are online entries for this show.  We were just going to do Sunday because of waiting on Abby so hopefully she will have done her stuff by Friday evening at the latest. Yeah I am hopeful LOL.
This is a UKC Show and we can show two shows on Friday Saturday and Sunday. If we pre enter we get the entries for $100  but if we pay on the day it is $25 per show so by pre entering we save $50.  Would be nice if AKC were to do this but they never will.

ZELEYS KENNEL

Well I thought I would start a blog.  I have just watched the movie Julie Julia and laughed so much, thought it might be fun to write my own blog!!!
Yeah like I have nothing else to do right!!!

Well today started off with a strange red pick up truck in the driveway at 8.45.a.m. when both Zena and I are getting ready for breakfast.  Naturally we sent Eric out there becuase of course we assumed it had to be one of his ladies or gent in this case.

No it was a guy asking if we would like some left over crush and run gravel for the driveway which of course over the years has got washed away.  He was mesmorised by all the dogs running in the yard barking which is what they do.  Eric came to the door and said that he would like to see the puppy that we have for sale.  Oh my you better beleive that I was very quick to get all the dogs in and up in crates so that he could come in and see Bing.  Yes I put theother two pups in the bedroom in a crate with Polly.
The man came in and was just enamered with Bing  ( Chihuahua) and of course I picked him up and gave him to the man to hold.  He lives in West Virginia and said he was very interested and would ring me in the evening.  Well it is now 10.50.p.m.and he hasn't rung so I guess the wife said no. 
Well tomorrow we will have to advertise him in the Richmond paper.  Will get Zena to help me take a picture of Bing and write the advert.
He did come back and lay the driveway gravel and then go over it with a roller and must say it looks very pretty!!!

After he left and I had cleaned up the kitchen it was time to bath Traveler (Chihuahua) and take him over to Pat.  He was a bit nervous at first being in the x-pen with Pat's liitle chihuahua girl Bailey but he will settle down fine.  I will be showing him but Pat is now his new mum. Bing and Blondie don't really seem to be missing him which is good.

When I got home the man was here doing the driveway and I have to say it was worth the money and looks very nice. Thankyou. Now lets hope he comes back for the pup!!!

After all that was done, I of course had a cup of coffee and time to groom Petra and Sarah.  Petra is a papillon and Sarah is a tibetan spaniel.  They have been in the laundry room for a month because of Sarah being in season.  Wow she sure has grown coat being out there.
