 FUN PICTURES FROM MY TRAVELS

Picture
The Famous Trolley Dollies.
This is from our UKC show in 2008
We had the best time going to Kalamazoo, Michigan.  We rented the golf cart as we were parked nearly a mile from the building and this was in June before I had my  back surgery.
We took Twister, Konoar, Grissom, Evie, Jack and Lolla.
Twister won an award of Excellence as did Evie, Lolla won The Top Ten class, Evie won an award of Excellence and so did Grissom. The next day at the show Twister, Grissom and Evie all got a Group placement. On the last day Evie got a Group 3 which was thrilling with 28 dogs in the ring.
It was a long drive and yes we will do it again when we have at least two in the Top Ten Finals.

Our second trip to Kalamazoo.
We stopped on the way home at Lake Erie.  It really was a lovely place but hated the bugs!!!!
Twister won three Best of Breeds out of four shows which was thrilling.
This was the trip that Evie won in the Top Ten Premier.

A picture of D'Vine Kansas Tornado at Zeleys doing weight pull at a UKC show.
Twister can pull the trolley off the concrete but he won't pull unless I touch him first and of course that is disqualification. We still had fun doing it.

Picture
This is the Charlottesville Newspaper. For some reason the photographer decided to take a picture of me and Twister and put it on the front page!!!! Wow.
Do wish he had got the othr side with the dog instead of my legs!!!!

A lovely lovely boy and so willing to please.
It was such a thrill that my boys won a Best of Breed each day.
Way to go Boys.

On our trip to Pensylvania, Raleigh and Hickory, we stopped at a Gold Mining camp site for a couple of days before heading to Raleigh.  Pat and I went Gem Mining and had the best fun. We became addicted and went back for more the next day!!! That is a piece of Amathyst and I found a lump of Citrene.
We came home with bags of gems and promises to go back again.

These are someof the gem stones that we aquired from mining.
It was so much fun to do

Picture
A picture of the Wide Mouth Bass that I caught while we were in Kansas staying with Niki.
I have never caught a fish so big and we never caught another one LOL.
Still it was fun and Niki had packed us a lovely lunch which we enjoyed in the sun. Oh and no bugs which was much appreciated. We went back to the Kennel after about two hours as the sun is just too much for Pat.

Picture
Taken at the Bel Alton show. A picture of the Blessing of The Hounds which is a tradition at the show. Lovely to see the hounds doing what they are supposed to do, hunt!!!

Picture
Another better picture of the hounds after they had been blessed.
Such gorgeous dogs all fit and ready to work.

Picture
Pat and I had so much fun with the UKC that I decided to place an advert in their Bloodlines Magazine.
Zena did a great job designing it.
So hard to find pictures with everyone facing the right way LOL.
Thankyou Zena.

Picture
Grissom and his brother Wojo, who lives with Pat, chilling on the sofa.
DeeDee, Pat's Grandaughter has taught Wojo to dance and he shares her bed.  Tibetan Spaniels are one of the best dogs for children. We just love them.

Picture
Pat and I went to a UKC Show in Chesterfield and Zena and Danny bought their Grissom Junior puppy for me to show in Novice Puppy Class.
Isn't he just cute.

Picture
This is what Junior thought about it all after going round the ring.
Well he not only peed on the floor once but twice he did it!!
Look at his face looking at the Judge.  At least she thought it was funny.

Picture
Grissom Junior in his royal outfit, fitting for a boy from Tibet!!
No he didnt keep it on for very long, it is a bit big yet.

Tiny Tim, a Pearl puppy. He was only 2 7/8 ounces when born and I never thought he would survive. One of five puppies.

CH Daggot's Well-Cut Tanzanite
Tiny Tim, renamed Jean Claude, as an adult becoming an AKC Champion.  He also went on to become a Canadian Champion and a New Zealand Champion winning many great shows in New Zealand.
Such an accomplishment for such a small dog at birth.
Way to go Tiny Tim

Scooter, another Pearl pup loved and owned by our friend Sue Whaley.
He became  a Champion in  a very short time.
So out of a litter of five puppies from Pearl. Evie, Scooter and Tiny Tim all became AKC  Champions and Jack is a  UKC Champion.
Way to go Pearl.

Picture
Another one of Pearl's puppies.
This is Daggot's Imperial Topaz becoming a UKC Champion.
UKC Judges loved Jack because of his movement and because he loved to show. Such a shame he grew too big for AKC showing.

This is our friend Mike Philip and me in California, my trip to pick up Trixie. Mike decided that we would visit  Alkatraz  Island and it was simply amazing. Not a good pciture as it rained the whole day. We were both soaked to the skin by the time we had walked all over Alkatraz. A trip never to forget!!!! Thanks  Mike.

HAWIAN DECORATING COMPETITION AT BELL ALTON

Picture
A picture of our decorated motor home at Bell Alton. The theme was Hawian so we were asked to decorate our motorhomes. It was fun and of course DeeDee just loved it.

Picture
We hung grass skirts on all the windows and decorated the back carrier.
Of course when it rained it didnt look too good.
