BRAGS ABOUT MY GIRLS

UKC CH. LEGACY OF ROSE ZELLA at ZELEY'S

Picture
This is D'vine Legacy of Rose Zella at Zeley's, again a breeding from Niki. I picked up Zella on the same trip to Kansas to get Mio.  Just couldn't resist those big brown eyes. Zella finally retired from the show ring with 17 points but no majors. She had a perfect face and head, no man judge could resist and nearly all her wins were with men judges!!!! Pat always showed her in UKC shows and she would look at the judge and see that little grin and know she would be walking home. Zella always won.

Picture
Zella's first win at the age of seven months. The only female judge that ever placed her.

Picture
Zella's last win before retiring, such a pretty dog, winning Best Opposite Sex.
Thankyou again Niki for a lovely lady. Zella did win her UKC Champion and Grand Champion title.
Zella is now retired from breeding and is with  her new mum living in Fredericksburg area. She is loved and cherished by Cathy.

UKC CH. POUR QUOI HATSOMONO BY STARFALL

Picture
This is Pour Quoi Hatsomono By Starfall who I co own with Niki. This was taken when she was about 11 months old.  Look at that coat.  SuSu became  a UKC Champion in one weekend of showing and a Grand Champion the following weekend.  Her movement is so perfect and a correct coat.  Lovely girl. She is since retired and now living back with Niki in Kansas.

Picture
This was the day she became a UKC Champion. Lovley girl.

Picture
These little guys are SuSu's first litter, in the middle is the little girl that I kept but later put her in a pet home as she did not have the temperment for showing. Cute puppies.
I bred SuSu again to Zeley's MJ Konoar and kept another girl, Pour Quoi Sayuri who is still thinking about the show circuit. SuSu makes lovely babies.

Picture
Same three puppies just a bit older.

Maverick is the one on the right, see how he looks like Mio, his father.

He now lives in Powhatan, near Richmond with our friend Kim.

Picture
Maverick fully grown living a luxury life with our friend Kim.

I did show Maverick to his UKC Champion title and wanted his GR CH title but it just wasn't convenient at the time.

I have shown him a few times in AKC and he is one of the best dogs for coat correctness and has wonderful movement like his father, CH  D'Vine OmeOmyO at Zeley's.

D'Vine Princess of the Plains

Picture
This is Hannah receiving her first major. She was born in Kansas, SuSu being the mother and Starfall Pure-Ly D'Vine Encore is the father.
Another breeding done by Niki.
She is one pretty little girl and will finish easily.
Hannah now has three majors only needing 3 single points towards her Championship. She is owned and loved by Barbara McClure of Rosehill, Kansas.
Well done Barbara

CONGRATULATIONS Hannah is now a Champion.

AKC and UKC GR CH. HEYMAX WHAT LOLA WANTS LOLA GETS

Picture
Hey Max What Lola Wants Lola Gets.

Lolla is a small cream long coat which again came from Kansas.

She was 16 months old when we got her and was too small for the show ring in Kansas so we thought we had to try here.  Lolla finished in one season again and finished with a 5 point major at a Chihuahua Speciality. I just love this little girl even though she made me work for the wins!!!

Picture
This is Lola winning her Reserve Best in Show at her first UKC show and winning her Championship.

Truly a thrilling experience to get Reserve, very unusual for such a small dog.

Picture
This is Lola winning her first Major at her first show in Raleigh. Very exciting.

Picture
Pat in her Motor Home after signing the papers that Evie is now hers.  Daggots Diamond in the Ruff has a permanent home with Pat Hamrick. I can't wait to start showing her.

Picture
The beginning of my showing Chihuahua's

This is Daggots Imperial Topaz on the left, Jack and Daggots Diamond in the Ruff, Evie.

Jack was such a fun dog to show in UKC as all the judges just loved his movement and attitude but he grew too big for AKC which was such a shame.

I have had lots of fun with Evie as you will see. Because of showing these Chihuahua's for Pat, and having so much fun she gave Evie's first born girl to Eric, my husband for me to show.  We love Polly,
White O Morns Erics Polly @ Zeley. Polly's father is CH Belle Shoals Regarding Henry

AKC and UKC GR. CH.DAGGOT'S DIAMOND IN THE RUFF

Picture
This is Evie winning her first major.  Pat and I had so much fun showing Evie.  I remember one show, it was the Best Puppy Group class and there were about 13 of us in line.  Pat was sitting watching with someother friends of mine from the circuit.  One friend turned to Pat and said, "I dont know where Shirley keeps getting these lovely Chihuahuas from but she is doing a great job with them." Pat chuckled but didn't inform the gal that it was her chihuahua and not mine. I just show them LOL.

Yes we did end up with Group 1 that day from the Best Puppy Group.

Picture
This was our crowning glory.  Evie was placed tenth in the Top Ten Invitational in Kalamazoo Michigan UKC show. Firstly Evie was No.1. in the Top Ten meaning she had the most points to be No.1. winning more shows than any other Chihuahua in 2008.  She then won the Chihuahua class which is all the Top Ten Chihuahuas for that year.  Then she had to be judged in Group which included 23 other breeds and it was outside and pouring with rain.  Evie was the only smooth coated dog and we ended up with a Group placement.  The Judge picks four dogs from each Group to go onto the Premier Show in the evening which is black tie affair.
Each dog, 20 in all, is judged by three different judges and they write their score cards and then the scores are added up and all 20 dogs then go back in the ring.

They call the tenth dog first and it was THE CHIHUAHUA.  Well the room erupted  with clapping and cheers. It was incredible. Evie beat 425 all breed dogs and then the other 10 dogs in the ring.  They had never had a Chihuahua win the Top Ten Invitational before.  We were thrilled. Well done Evie.

We would like to thank Judges Linda Reece, L.E."Skip" Stanbridge and Judy Threlfall

AKC and UKC CH. LORAC'S HAT OFF TO ZELEY'S SARAH

Picture
Lorac's Hat off to Zeley's Sarah arrived at the show in Roanoke at the age of 5 months from Texas.

Thankyou Marianne Filemyr for trusting me to show this little girl to her Championship. Sarah is also a UKC Champion.

Sarah arrived in Roanoke the day Grissom finished his Championship.

Picture
It was a very hot day and the photographer did not like that Sarah would not put her tongue in!!!

Sarah won  5 Best of Breed ribbons over Specials but still needed her two majors to become a Champion.

Picture
Sarah winning her last major to become a Champion with the help of my friend Sue Whaley.

Sarah is also a UKC Champion which she gained in one weekend of showing.

Sarah will now be bred to Grissom.

Junior is staying at our house to be the baby that Zena doesnt have!! He is well loved and spoilt rotten. Loves to dig holes and bring sticks and things into the house justlike his father Grissom.

He is the clone of his father and we are hoping to show him in UKC.

AKC.NZ.CAN. and UKC CH.SALINACRUZ SHE'S THE BEST

Picture
Salinacruz She's the Best came here from New Zealand, already a NZ Champion. She is owned by our friend Mike Philip who now lives in California and Pearl is also living with him now after being here, and in Kansas. Pearl is the first Chihuahua I have ever shown and she was so much fun. I put the first points on her at her first show and then Mike asked Sue Whaley to show her and of course she ended up with her Championship thanks to Sue. Pearl loved to show and was a great performer.

Pearl was then bred and had four boys and one girl, the girl going to Pat, and Evie was born!!

Picture
AKC NZ CH Salinacruz She's The Best shown by Sue Whaley.

Sue fell in love with Pearl and enjoyed showing her so much that she asked if she could have one of Pearl's next babies  which is Daggot's Fire Opal at Sunups.

Picture
CH Daggot's Fire Opal at Sunups  "Scooter" owned and loved by Sue Whaley winning best of Opposite Sex.

Sue had so much fun showing Scooter, he finished his Championship by the time he was 10 months old!!!

His favourite game is chasing the Fox Hounds that Sue has.
Way to go Scooter.

Picture
Aren't they cute??? This is Pearl's five babies and one of my Papillon puppies while on the road at a dog show.  Yes when we have puppies and they have had their first shots then they come on the road with us.  They soon learn to be good travellers.

AKC NZ CAN.CH. SALINACRUZ DRAMA QUEEN

Picture
Salinacruz Drama Queen came from New Zealand and is owned by Mike Philip again. She also came with her New Zealand Championship and hoping to get her AKC Championship.
I went on an all expenses paid trip to California to bring Trixie home.  I showed her twice while in California and the first day she got Reserve and the second day she won Winners Bitch and Best of Variety at a Chihuahua Speciality.  It was exciting and everyone was so nice at the show. I did learn that Trixie has a lot of terrier in her when she spun round in Group to attack the pekinese behind me.  Never let her do that again.
Now we have to fly home.

Picture
Finally the last major that Trixie needed for her AKC Championship. So hard to find the entries to make up the last major. Trixie is now a NZ and AKC Champion and when she has been bred and goes back to California Mike will take her to Canada to get her Canadian Championship.  A well travelled little chihuahua.
She was a fun dog to show, all spit and vinegar.

Picture
Trixie pups born in October 2009.  All three are girls.

UKC CH. SYLVANCREEK DILLY DOLLY DAYDREAM

Picture
This is our newest addition to the Myall family and kennel of Zeley.
Dilly was born on March 30 2010. She comes from Collorado and has found it a huge challenge coming here.
We are hoping that she willsoon adjust and learn to be a show dog.  This was a UKC show and she actually had a good time even though she looks terrified in this picture.
We are hoping for good things in 2011.

Picture
Dilly in her Christmas dress which she loves to wear.
We had 12inces of snow so she had to wear dresses to go out so she didnt get cold.

Zeleys Million Dollar Baby

Picture
MOCHUISLA

This is the new baby that Dilly had while on our trip to Concord, NC. Yes won't be travelling again with a pregnant chihuahua as we had to use the emergency vet which I just hate.  Still we ended up with one live puppy. Her name is going to be Zeleys Million Dollar Baby, Mochuisla as her call name which means My Baby or My Love.  She is just adorable and so nicely marked.

MOCHUISLA

Picture
This is baby Mochuisla at 7 weeks. She is just adorable and we are hoping she will not grow too big.  Being a singleton pup, she has lots of mothers milk to enjoy!!!

Zeleys Kansas Koyote

Picture
This is our new spring hopeful for 2011.
Blondie is 4 months old now and getting trained for her show debut in April.
Going to be fun showing this little girl.

Blondie earned her first point on the 10th August also going Best of Winners and Best Opposite Sex.

On the 12th August she earned two more points and Best Opposite Sex.

Seeing Blondie had such a bad scare with a judge and falling off the table I am well pleased with her.
